Announce engagement
Mendi Lee Wattenbarger and Dakota Randolph Patterson will exchange nuptial vows August 3 at First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls.

Mendi is the daughter of John and Kim McKay of Iowa Park and the late Ricky Wattenbarger of Vernon. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Diane Wattenbarger of Vernon.

Dakota is the son of Mark and Tammie Patterson of Iowa Park, and grandson of Jerry and Peggy Robertson of Iowa Park.

Mendi attended school in Vernon and graduated Iowa Park High School. She also attended Vernon College.

Dakota is a graduate of Iowa Park High School and Vernon College. He is employed at Cryovac.
