Couple celebrates 60th anniversary
Herbert and Anita Lujeane Adcock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family luncheon at the home of Nancy and Kenneth Arnold in Hillsboro.

Herbert Adcock and Anita LuJeane Arnold were married October 12, 1947, in Hillsboro.

The couple have a son, Timothy, of Abilene.

Adcock served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, and retired from the Department of the Air Force in 1985. He later retired from Dutton Funeral Home. He serves on the Board of Directors of Friendly Door Senior Citizen’s Center.
Mrs. Adcock was a county office assistant with Farmers Home Administration. She retired from the Department of Agriculture in 1990.

The couple are members of Faith Baptist Church, where Adcock serves as a deacon, outreach director, and a member of the standing building committee.
