Announce engagement
Becky and Wendall House of Iowa Park announce the engagement of their son, Phillip Jason, to Amy Michelle Scheurick.

The couple will marry in an evening ceremony January 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA.

Phillip is a graduate of Iowa Park High School, University of Texas at Austin and Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert’s School of Law. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity, Baton Rouge Bar Association and Texas EXES. He is an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana in Baton Rouge.

Amy is the daughter of Michael and Carolyn Scheurich of Baton Rouge.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Silvio and Mrs. Beatrice Scheurich and the late James J. Scheurich, Jr. all Baton Rouge.

Amy is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University and Louisiana University Graduate School. She is a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, Catholic Daughters of America, ASDA, LCA, NASW-LA.

She was presented as a debutante in the 1998 Krewe de Louisiana Governors Mardi Gras Ball. She is a social worker employed as the high school counselor at St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge.
