New school year starts Monday

The ringing of the school bells Monday morning will signal the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year.

Kidwell first and second grade students should report to school at 8 a.m. and classes will be dismissed an hour and a half early at 1:30 p.m.

Kindergarten students will attend orientation from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday through Friday kindergarten students will attend class from 8 to 11 a.m.

Letters have been sent home regarding pre-k students first day of school.

Bradford classes will start at 8 a.m. Students should report to their assigned classes and school will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. also.

Middle school students should be at school by 8 a.m.

Students will report to their enrichment class .

They will be posted on the front doors for those students who have not already picked up their schedules.

School will be dismissed at 1:45 p.m. that day.

The price of lunches have increased by 25-cents on each campus.

The new lunch prices for 2008-09 are: Kidwell Elementary, $1.75; Bradford Elementary, $2; W.F. George Middle School, $2.25; Iowa Park High School, $2.25; adults (all campuses) $2.75; and guests (all campuses), $3.25.
