Mildred Kaspar Rathke, 82, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, in Wichita Falls.
Services were held Monday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Don Peyman and Rev. Dale Snyder officiating. Interment was held in Crestview Memorial Park.
A daughter of the late Walter and Olga (Engelmann) Kaspar, she was born January 17, 1926, in Clara. She had worked as a secretary, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild for many years, and was the coordinator of the Lutheran Braile Workers. She enjoyed working with her hands doing needlepoint, arts and crafts, and gardening. She was a volunteer at Hospice, and attended their grief support group regularly.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Rathke; and a brother, James Kaspar.
Survivors include her sisters, Dolores Leimer of Borger; and four brothers, Fain Kaspar of Amarillo, Donnis Kaspar of Burkburnett, Les Kaspar of Fort Worth, and Philip Kaspar of Iowa Park.
