James Roy Entrekin
1920 - 2014

James Roy Entrekin, 93, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, in Iowa Park.

Funeral services were held Saturday in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Graveside services followed at Highland Cemetery.

James was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Charlie, to Than and Mary (Harbour) Entrekin. He married Betty Chadwick on July 28, 1961. He worked for 54 years for Calvin Gas Company. He was a US Army Veteran who served in World War II. James always enjoyed woodwork, and working in the yard with his flowers. He also enjoyed bird watching.

He was preceded in death by his parents; all of his siblings; one son, James Paul Entrekin; two grandsons, James Paul Entrekin and Josh Stewart.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Entrekin of Iowa Park; children, Karen Sue Haas of Tyler, Tommy Entrekin of Tucson, AZ., Robert G. Entrekin of Wichita Falls; Wayland Stewart of Iowa Park; Rodney Stewart of Saipan; and James Stewart of Seattle, WA.; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
