Claude DeWayne Morrow
1948 - 2017

Claude DeWayne Morrow, 68, passed away Monday, Jan. 2.

Funeral services were held Saturday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Stubblefield, officiating.

Interment followed at Holliday Cemetery.

A son of the late Claude and Thelma (Green) Morrow, Claude was born on June 25, 1948, in Wichita Falls. He served in the United States Navy, having served two tours during Vietnam. In 1976, he married Mary Smith. He retired in 2000 from the Wichita County Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4128. He enjoyed cooking and camping, patriotic flags, telling war stories, and spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Morrow.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Morrow; his children, Michelle Rothbauer, Michelle Pace, and Alan Cannedy; and four grandchildren.
