Ronald Allen Rainsberg, Sr.

Ronald Allen Rainsberg, Sr. passed from his earthly life to his eternal life in heaven on January 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Graveside serviceswere held at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Rick Davis, First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park officiating.

Visitation was held from 1 PM until service time at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Ron was born April 20, 1935 in Lindentree, Ohio to Archie Edward and Margaret (Brown) Rainsburg. He married Carol Ann Bucheitt on June 28, 1957 in Angloa, Indiana. He worked for JCPenney for 22 years. Ron moved to Wichita Falls in 1978 and worked for Whites Home and Auto, B&C Printing, the Times-Record News, and the local Cumulus Broadcasting stations.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Carol of Iowa Park; sons, Ronald, Jr and wife, Teri of Maumee, Ohio, Kevin and wife, Anne of Wichita Falls, and Brian and wife, Wendy of Wichita Falls; grandsons, Eric Rainsberg and wife, Karen of Mason, Ohio; Clayton Rainsberg and wife, Bethany of Pataskla, Ohio; granddaughters, Amber Rainsberg of Petrolia, Texas and Debra Botello of Wichita Falls; grandson, Joey Schultz of El Doredo, Texas; Trace of Kansas City, Missouri; Britney of Wichita Falls; Christian of San Diego, California; Nick of Wichita Falls; Aaron of Wichita Falls; five great granddaughters; two great grandsons; and one great-great granddaughter.

The family wishes to thank Texhoma Christian Care Center staff and Hospice of Wichita Falls for their loving care of Ron and support given to his family.
