Leonida ‘Skeet’ Eddins
1924 - 2009

Leonida “Skeet” Walker Eddins, 84, died Thursday, Jan. 8, in Iowa Park.

Services were held Monday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Burial was held in Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Eddins was born March 6, 1924, in Wichita Falls, to Robert Mance and Isabell Blodgett Walker. She and Howard Cecil Eddins were married June 4, 1955, in Abilene. They had resided in Iowa Park 51 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and had worked at State National Bank prior to working as branch manager for Parker Square Savings and Loan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of Iowa Park; a son, Daylon Sidwell; a sister Frances Wilkerson of Breckenridge; and a grandson.
