Florence Bellah Blair
1935 - 2014

Florence Bellah Blair, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 11, in Azle.

Funeral services were held Monday, at Southside Baptist Church in Olney with Andy Graham, pastor, officiating. Burial was held in Elbert Cemetery in Elbert.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Florence was born Jan. 24, 1935 in Olney, to the late Dwight Davidson and Minnie Leora (Richardson) Bellah. She and Bobby Lee Blair were married June 18, 1951 in Wichita Falls. He preceded her in death in 1998.

She was a longtime and active member of the Southside Baptist Church where she taught Bible class, and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Group. She worked many years as a supervisor at Haggar Manufacturing in Olney. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, watching and talking sports, game and cooking shows.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a grandson, Shon Blair.
She is survived by two sons, Dwight Blair of Azle, and Bobby Blair of Archer City; a sister, Mary Sue Hale of Iowa Park; five grandchildren: and five great-grandchildren.
