Russell Phelps, Jr, 66, of Iowa Park died Friday, January 11, in Iowa Park.

Services were held Tuesday, January 15, at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial with full military honors was be at Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Phelps was born March 18, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to Russell and Fleecie (Slade) Phelps, Sr. He and Linda Ingalls were married August 24, 1981 in Brackettville. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force and attained the rank of Master Sergeant and worked in Personnel Management. He retired from the U.S. Air Force at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois with 26 years of service. He has lived in Iowa Park four years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Haley Holter and Ryan Phelps.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, of Iowa Park; daughters, Kathryn Hill of Schertz, Karen Sames of East Peoria, IL., Jennifer Kinkel of Lipan, and Kimberly Holter of Marion; sons, Russell, III of Fort Lauderdale, FL. and David of Saint Hedwig; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
