GayDean (Macon) Millstid
1933 - 2015

GayDean (Macon) Millstid, 81, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, in the Hospice Center in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Life Tabernacle in Wichita Falls under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, in Carlisle Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Millstid was born on Feb. 18,1933 in Plains, KS. She became a pastor’s wife at the young age of 17. She continued to minister to people even after retirement from ministry. She had made her home in Iowa Park for the past 15 years. She and her late husband were formerly ministers in Iowa Park.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Violet (Wiggin) Macon; brothers, Johnny and Wesley Macon; and two sons, Jerry Lynn and Douglas LaJaun Millstid.

Survivors include her two sons, Burl Millstid of Ft. Worth, and Donnie Millstid of Trinity; two daughters, Gayla Hardin of Comanche, and Judy Davis of Wichita Falls; four brothers, Bob Macon of Sweeny, JT Macon of West Columbia, Ted Macon of Surfside and Larry Macon of Montana; three sisters, Etta Perry of Conroe, Lillian Fields of Poolville, and Dollie Warren of Baltimore, OH.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
