Gary Leon Langford
1943 - 2014

Gary Leon Langford, 70, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, in Conroe.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Gary was born Dec. 30, 1943, in Temple, OK., to Gordon Beacher “G.B.” and Ruby Mae (Pack) Langford. He graduated from W.F. George High School and owned and operated Empire Pawn and Loan in Lubbock, for 20 years. He was baptized at Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed donating to different organizations, especially those helping children.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gordon B. Langford.

Survivors include a son, Neal Langford of Spring; a brother, Gordon Wayne Langford of Indiahoma, OK.; and five sisters, Delores Vestal of Iowa Park, Jeanette Millard of Granite City, IL., Mary Tempia of Lebanon, IL., and Patricia Ray and Linda Langford, both of Walters, OK.

The family suggest memorials be made to Make A Wish Foundation.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening in Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.
