Bobby York, 70, passed away on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John D. Otley, pastor of City View Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, officiating.

Burial was held in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta.

Mr. York was born Aug. 21, 1942 in Aransas Pass, to Roy Harmon and Irene (Pearson) York. He married Sonya Sheppard April 25, 1987, in Wichita Falls. He was retired from Pierce Sales in Henrietta and a member of the Grace Temple Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leon and Jerry York; and one daughter in law, Becky York.

Survivors include his wife of Wichita Falls; three sons, Roy York and David York, both of Henrietta, and Paul Wallace of Iowa Park; two daughters, Tammy Watson of Grandfield, OK, and Paula Randall of Needville; a sister, Pat Wilson of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
