Cynthia “Cindy” Whittaker
1958 - 2012

Cindy Whittaker, 53, passed away, Dec. 19, 2011 , in Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

Memorial services will be held Easter Weekend in San Diego.

She was born at Whiteman Air Force Base, March 27, 1958, and grew up in San Diego and Los Angeles. She worked in Gig Harbor, WA. for several years before moving to Iowa Park in 2006. She was a graphic designer and worked for Humphrey’s Printing in Wichita Falls. She was a member of Wichita Falls’s first graduating class of the Citizen’s Fire Academy and also participated in a citizen’s class of the Wichita Falls Police Department.

Survivors include her mother Maxine Whittaker of Springfield MO. father, Jim Whittaker of Seattle, WA.; her fiance, Garardo Montero of Iowa Park; and sisters, Michelle Whittaker Drapeau, Oceanside, CA., Karin Spice of New Port Richie, FL., and Andrea Gasaway of Springfield, MO.
