Marlene Ann Ermis Marshall
1952 - 2017

Marlene Ann Ermis Marshall, 64, died on Monday, Jan. 23.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Seymour with Deacon Jim Novak, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Seymour Catholic Cemetery.

Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Wichita Falls.

Marlene was born on Sept. 30, 1952, in Windthorst, to Mildred (Schrieber) and Floyd Hilbers. She graduated from Windthorst High School. She started working at The Browse Shop in 1974 and then bought the store in 2005 and managed it. She enjoyed selling Home Interiors, in which she won many awards. She also enjoyed gardening and baking. and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Marlene was a member of the Catholic Daughter’s of America and Christ the King Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Ermis; sister, Karen Foster.
Survivors include her parents, Floyd and Mildred Hilbers; sons, Jake Ermis, Pete Ermis, and Luke Ermis, all of Iowa Park; a daughter, Megan Ermis of Iowa Park; step-daughter, Donnett Findlay of Wichita Falls; husband, Donnie Marshall of Iowa Park; brothers, Floyd Hilbers of Windthorst, and Steve Hilbers of Archer City; sisters, Linda Haynes of Windthorst, Edith Townsend and Cindy Carlton, both of Wichita Falls; and three grandchildren.
