Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Jones
1941 - 2011

Bobbie Jones, 69, a resident of Iowa Park for 38 years, died Sunday, Jan. 23, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. this evening at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park.

Bobbie was born Nov. 10, 1941, to Joseph and Mercedes Zubiate in Pasadena, California. She and Donald Ray Jones were married June 16, 1973, in Wichita Falls. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Iowa Park Fire Department.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband; her children, Priscilla Shaffer of Lobelville, TN., Danny Howard of Houston, Lisa Reece of Corydon, IA., John Howard of Bedford, Carmen Hornberger of Allen, and Lenora Vilca of Carrollton; three sisters, Patricia Grob of New Mexico, Tina Ford of South Carolina, Mercy Higgins of Louisiana; three brothers, Thomas Zubiate of California, JR. Stevens and Jeffrey Stevens, both of Virginia; 21 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimers Association.
