Tina Gaye Featherston

1967 - 2016

Tina Gaye Featherston Coleman, 48, passed away after a lengthy illness Saturday, Jan. 23.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating.

Graveside services followed at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Tina was born July 20, 1967, in Cheyenne, WY., to Ray Q. and Brenda G. (Darnell) Featherston. She was a 1985 graduate of Iowa Park High School and attended school in Mineral Wells, where she received her LVN license and was also the recipient of the Florence Nightingale Award. She was Pentecostal and had attended Life Tabernacle Church in Wichita Falls. She recently moved back to Iowa Park after living in California for several years.

Tina is preceded in death by her grandparents, Houston and Veeda Darnell, and W.S. and Grace Featherston.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Coleman of Dublin; parents, Ray and Brenda Featherston of Iowa Park; three children, Joshua Norris and Bethany Sanchez, both of California, and Casey Norris of Iowa Park; two stepsons, Andrew and Jason Coleman, both of Florida; two brothers, Scott Featherston of Iowa Park and Chad Featherston of Wichita Falls; and five grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Life Tabernacle Church in Wichita Falls.
