Charles R. “Bobby” Black, Jr.
1969 - 2014

Charles R. “Bobby” Black, Jr., 44, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Saturday, in Lunn’s Colonial Chapel with Rev. Matthew McCurly and Rev. Jim McCurly officiating.

Burial followed in Crestview Cemetery.

Bobby was born Dec. 29, 1969, to Charles R. Black, Sr. and Judy Black in Wichita Falls. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1988. He worked for many years as a transmission technician. Recently, he had been working with Lone Star RV building portable oilfield buildings. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed slot car racing. He was a member Victory Ministries of Wichita Falls.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William G. Black; and his maternal grandparents, Joe D. and Lucille Spears.

Survivors include his father Charles R. Black, Sr. and his, mother Judy Black; three children, Justin Black and Maria Black, both of Wichita Falls, and Sinclair Lozano of Beaumont; a sister, Alecia Black Garcia of Iowa Park; his grandmother, Susie M. Black of Wichita Falls; and two grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Victory Ministries of Wichita Falls, 1608 Monroe, Wichita Falls, Texas 76309 or to the donor’s charity of choice.
