Fred Haley

Fred Conde Haley, 71, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Hospice of Wichita Falls.
Memorial services were held Friday, Jan. 25, at Texoma Cowboy Church.
Mr. Haley was born in Mineral Wells, Dec. 18, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams Haley. He attended Weatherford High School graduating in 1960, and attended Weatherford College where he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Arts and graduated in 1963, and has been a supporter the Disabled American Veterans for over 25 years. He started his insurance career as an agent for National Life Insurance, moved from Weatherford to Midland, ending up and residing in Wichita Falls since 1967. He operated Fred Haley Insurance of Wichita Falls since 1978, owned Kemp Street Motors, was an active member of the Wichita County Mounted Patrol since 1980 where he held various officer positions for 10 years and was an active member of the Local Elks Lodge #1105.
Survivors include his daughters, Terri of Flower Mound and Rhonda of Iowa Park; a sister, Lynne Embry of Weatherford; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
