Steven Craig Blakley
1966 - 2018

Steven Craig Blakley, 51, of Wichita Falls, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Legacy Church of Wichita Falls with Bro. William Carnley, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.

Steven was born on May 13, 1966, in Glendale, CA. He was employed at SAFB where he worked as an Aircraft Mechanic. Known as “Jungle” to many, he had previously owned and operated A Different Drummer Tattoo Studio and Classic Tattoo Co. He enjoyed spending time with his family, helping others, riding his Harley and collecting knives.

He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Pamela Sparks and Mas Masadu.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Deen Blakley; his children, Angie Beavers of Wichita Falls, Paige Blakley Bowers of Iowa Park, and James Deen of Burkburnett; his dad, Robert Blakley of Idabel, OK.; his mother, Nana Jones Platner of Checotah, OK.; siblings, Daryl Blakley of Idabel, OK., Teresa Bell of Wichita Falls, David Shimizu, Dionne Marshall, Masa Shimizu, Mari Shimizu, and Kogi Shimizu, all of California; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
