George ‘Buster’ Reaves, Jr.

IOWA PARK – George Swan ‘Buster’ Reaves, Jr., age 80, died Friday, January 27, 2012 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary House officiating. Burial was at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Buster was born January 9, 1932 in Valley View to George, Sr. and Ruth Belote Reaves. He married Beverly Jan Bedford June 7, 1951 in Iowa Park, Texas. He was a Sales Rep for Harbeson Fischer Sales until his retirement in 2000. Buster was a veteran of the US Army. He was also a member of the Muleskinners, Jaycees and the Iowa Park Gun Club.

His parents and two brothers, J. L. and Glen preceded him in death.

B uster is survived by his wife, Jan of Iowa Park; a daughter, Dana McCord and husband, Craig of Iowa Park; a grandson, Barry McCord and wife, Keli of Iowa Park; a great grandson, Carson of Iowa Park and a sister Mary Frances Farris of Longview, Texas.
