Maudie Pauline Henderson
1923 - 2015

Maudie Pauline Henderson, 92, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 29, in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services were held Saturday, at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion, with Dr. Jon Eckstein, pastor, First United Methodist Church officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Dutton funeral home.

Maudie was born on Jan. 4, 1923, in Caddo to Walter and Nora Allmon Jones. She attended Harmony schools. She married Raymond J. Henderson of Anadarko,OK on Aug. 9, 1957, and traveled to Germany, Arkansas, Oklahoma and then back to Texas during his Army career. They moved to Iowa Park in 1980. She was a homemaker and a caregiver to her grandchildren over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing clothing and making costumes for children and grandchildren, and baking cookies with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Opal Rollans and Eula Phillips; and three brothers, Clarence Jones, Gene Jones and Harvey Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Henderson of Iowa Park; two daughters, Betty Ward of Temple and Debbie Brandt of Iowa Park; two sisters, Wanda Hood of Coleman, and Faye Pitts of San Angelo; a brother, Wayne Jones of Coleman; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren,
