Randy Kuhn, 66, passed away, Friday, Jan. 30, at his home in Iowa Park.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, in the chapel of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.
Randy was born on Oct. 26, 1948, to John Harper and Virginia (Lawton) Kuhn in East St. Louis, IL. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Navy, and married Sharon Dupont. They were married 40 years. In the Navy is where he began his metalworking career by working in the foundry. In 1982, they moved to Wichita Falls and opened a machine and fabrication shop. Kuhn Industries operated for 32 years beginning on Old Jacksboro Highway and finally at a location in Iowa Park in the old Wichtex Building. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and motorcycle rider. He retired to his ranch in Iowa Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his twin brother, Ricky Kuhn.
Survivors include his children, Timothy Kuhn and Karly Kuhn Frantom, both of Wichita Falls; his ex-wife and best friend, Sharon Kuhn; three sisters, Carol Storm, Gaylynn Minnigerode, and Debbie Huddleston, all of Illinois; two brothers, Gary Kuhn of Illinois, and Dennis Kuhn of Washinton; and five grandchildren.
