Wanda Joyce Hill, 81, of Holliday passed away Monday, Feb. 6.

A celebration of life service will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday a the Archer County Activities Center, 103 South Center, Holliday, with Rev. Jenni Cobb officiating.

Mrs. Hill was born Oct. 27, 1930, in Big Spring, to the late Carl and Jane Merrick. It was there she married Darmond Edwin Hill. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in El Paso, and retired as church secretary. She had been a resident of Holliday for the past 15 years and was active in the Optimist Club.

Survivors include her children, Rusty Hill of Midland, Diane Mills of Wichita Falls, Elaine Myers of Holliday, Robert Hill of Hudson Oaks, and Richard Hill of Iowa Park; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
