Johnny L. Roberts

Johnny L. Roberts, 53, of Moweaqua, IL. passed away on Thursday Feb. 5, at home.
Services to celebrate his life were held Sunday at Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home in Macon with Rev. Dan Spruell officiating. Cremation rites were accorded after funeral services.

Mr. Roberts was born on Aug. 17, 1955 in Wichita Falls to Frank Lloyd and Vida Powell Roberts. He and Andrea Yurkowski were married Oct. 1, 1999. He was employed at PPG as an Accounting Manager and held memberships in the American Quarter Horse Association, American Painted Horse Association, and Illinois Painted Horse Association and was the owner of “Our Painted Dreams Farm”.

His father preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Andrea; two daughters, Michelle Horak of Wylie and Janay Roberts of Macon; a son, Justin Roberts of Urbana; mother and stepfather: Vida and Johnny Lee of Iowa Park; two sisters, Pattie Patterson of Charlotte, NC and Darla Ryan of Wichita Falls; and three grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
