Joe T. Haynes, 79, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, at Northside Baptist Church in Iowa Park.

Mr. Haynes was born Sept. 8, 1933 to Clyde B. Haynes and Eunice Marie Ashcraft in Sherrill, AR. He was retired from the Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation Department, as a supervisor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma L. Haynes; his parents, Clyde and Eunice Haynes; and a sister Helen Colwell.

He is survived by a son, Danny; and two daughters, Susan Kendrick, and Kristy Haynes; brothers, Don and Dale; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
