Curtis Lee Odom, 74, of Burkburnett passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick, OK. with Doyle Fuller and Bryan Armstrong officiating. Burial was held in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Odom was born on Nov. 8, 1938, in Byers, to Clifford and Opal (Maness) Odom. He and Jolene (Jody) Hill were married June 19, 1957.
Curtis served 11 years with the National Guard and two years with the Army Reserves. He owned and operated Odom Well Service for many years and retired in 1992 to spend time at the family farm raising cattle and farming. He recently returned to work for Tom Ruddy, Ruddy Farms. He enjoyed golfing, and spending time on the family farm.
He is survived by his wife, Jolene (Jody) Odom; three daughters, Kim Brown of San Angelo, Ramona Clarkson of Iowa Park, and Juli Prather of Combine; four sisters, Mary Dorsey, Nelda Tuggle, Doris Bartosh, and Carolyn Howard, all of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Delbert Odom of Burleson and Jessie Odom of Wichita Falls; and four grandsons.
