John B. Ratcliff

John B. Ratcliff, of Iowa Park and formerly of Graham, passed away at his home Monday, Feb 13.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
Private graveside services will be held at the Highland Cemetery Saturday.
Born Dec. 23, 1930, to the family of James Miller Ratcliff and wife Myrtle Carson Ratcliff of Graham. He attended schools and graduated High School in Graham, attended East Central State College of Ada, OK., attaining a BS Degree in Education and a Master Degree in Mathematics, and taught schools in Wichita Falls and Iowa Park, before retiring in 1985. He met Patsy Lee Denton of Cisco, Texas, and they were married April 21, 1951. In 1959 he joined the Air Force, serving at Walker Air Force Base in N. M. French Morocco, in North Africa, and then Fairfield Air Force Base in WA.
He was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Bruce Ratcliff, parents, brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of Iowa Park, two sons, Terry Ratcliff of Wichita Falls and James Darren Ratcliff of Austin; two daughters, Sharon Grimes of Rockdale, and Rita Bouvesett of Electra; one sister Dolly Nunley of Wichita, KS.; a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Wichita Hospice Center, the First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park or the Friendly Door.
