Roy D. Carr
1948 - 2011

Roy D. Carr, 62, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, at Hospice in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services were held Sunday at Broken Chains Freedom Church with pastor Roy Boswell officiating.

A son of the late Richard and Noreen (Hill) Smallwood , he was born Aug. 26, 1948, in Denton. He worked for many years with Wichita Tank as a welder.

He and Christine Warner were married June 3, 2000. A lifelong biker, he rode with many clubs throughout the years, and most recently with the Christian Motorcycle Association. He was a member of Broken Chains Freedom Church. He was also a member of CMA Outreach Ministry.

Survivors include his wife of Wichita Falls; his children, Roy of Seattle, WA., Brenda Ward of Iowa Park, Crystal and Ryan, both of Wichita Falls, Tracy Hawkins of Petrolia, and Adam Huft of CA.; three sisters, Lynn Tucker, Sherly Harris, and Connie Trujillo; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Broken Chains Freedom Church, 5200 Old Jacksboro Hwy., Wichita Falls, Tx. 76302.
