Angela Muriel Mowery, 54, of Iowa Park, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8.
The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 12:10 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Jack McKone, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Angela was born on Nov. 29, 1960 in Camden, N.J., to the late John and Isabelle (Shaffer) Crean. She served as a medic in the United States Air Force retiring after 22 years as a First Sergeant. She later worked at Wayland Baptist University where she received her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. She was currently employed with Civil Service at S.A.F.B. On March 17, 1981, she married Tim Mowery. She was a member of the Green Knights Military Motorcycle Club and was a Philadelphia Eagles fan. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Kevin Crean, and John Crean.
Survivors include her husband of Iowa Park; three sons, Timothy Mowery and Christopher Mowery, both of Wichita Falls, and Joseph Mowery of Denton; three brothers, Jere Crean of Richmon, Joe Crean of Egg Harbor Township, N. J., and Bill Crean of Pittsburg, PA.; a sister, Mary Crean of Pittsburg, PA; and two grandchildren.
