Keith Edmund Wasinger, 56, of Frederick passed away Monday, February 9, at his home in Frederick, Ok.
Funeral Mass was held Thursday at St. Helen Catholic Church in Frederick with Rev. Fr. James A. Wickersham officiating.
Burial followed in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.
A rosary was held Wednesday, February 11, at the funeral home.
Keith was born on Sept. 19, 1958, in Wichita Falls, to Edmund John and Velma Marie (Lang) Wasinger. He attended Notre Dame Catholic School in Wichita Falls and graduated in 1977. He then attended Midwestern University before moving to Frederick in 1981. He and Martha Jane Lewis were married April 13, 1985 in Frederick, OK. He was a machinist who owned and operated Ke-Fab Manufacturing in Frederick since 1981. He was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church where he was serving on the Parish Board. He was an avid sportsman enjoying hunting ducks and deer and playing golf. He spent many hours watching his girls play softball and helping in many ways and enjoyed being outside with his cattle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Wasinger; and one son, Nicholas Keith Wasinger.
Survivors include his wife of the home; his mother, Velma Wasinger of Frederick; two daughters, Amber Jane Wasinger and Emily Kay Wasinger, both of Frederick; three brothers, Greg Wasinger of Iowa Park, David Wasinger of McKinney, and Stephen Wasinger of Athens; and one sister, Julie McCurley of Roanoke.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the St. Helen Catholic Church or the Frederick School Enrichment Foundation in memory of Keith Wasinger.
