Marcella White
1922 - 2008
Marcella White, 85, of Archer City passed away Thursday. Feb. 14, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Services were held Saturday, Feb. 16, at Aulds Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Davis of First United Methodist Church of Archer City officiating. Interment followed in Archer City Cemetery.

Mrs. White was born August 24, 1922, to Arthur Morris and Eddie Sorrells Morris in South Bend.

She graduated Graham High School and married Kenneth H. White January 31, 1942, in Burkburnett. She moved to Archer City in 1951, and was employed by the Archer City Nursing Home for several years. She then worked at the Archer County Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, watching football and spending time with her family. She was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne on Oct. 3, 2007; and a daughter, Juanita White Nichols on Sept. 20, 2007.

Survivors include her husband, of Archer City; two sons, Butch of Wichita Falls, and J.W. of Iowa Park; a daughter, Carolyn Schroeder of Archer City; a brother, A.W. Morris of Wichita Falls; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
