Buster Charles Cargal

Buster Charles Cargal, 67, of Wichita Falls, the father of former resident Buck Cargal, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Rucker, officiating.

Interment followed at Crestview Memorial Park.

Buster was born on Dec. 23, 1948, in Wichita Falls, to Roy Lee and Mary Viola (Buchanan) Cargal. On Dec. 9, 1978, he married Georgia McCabe. He worked for Big C Appliance as a Service Tech for many years, retiring in 2014. He enjoyed farming, working in the yard, and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.L. Cargal; and four brothers, Roy Cargal, Phil Cargal, James Cargal, and Stephen Cargal.

Survivors include his wife of Wichita Falls; his mother, Mary Cargal of Wichita Falls; three sons, Rusty Cargal McCabe, Buck Cargal, and Robert Cargal, all of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Donna Woods of Ada, OK.; a sister, DJ James of Wichita Falls; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
