LaDell Cato
1940 - 2013

LaDell Cato, 72, of Harrold, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Memorial services were held Saturday at the First Assembly of God in Electra with Darwin Stroud, pastor, officiating.

LeDell was born July 31, 1940, to Joy Lee Cato and Ruby Catherine Gilbert, in Electra. He graduated Electra High School. He and Pat Blackwood were married May 12, 1961, in Quanah. He had worked in the oil field throughout his life. He was a member of Harrold Volunteer Fire Department and had served on the Harrold School Board for several years. He was an active member of his community.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaci Payton.

Survivors include his wife of Harrold; three sons, Rickey Foster of Electra, Bobby Cato of Iowa Park, and Coy Cato of Harrold; a daughter, Patty Pettiet of Electra; a brother, Deryl of Electra; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
