Alma Lucretia Williams

Alma Lucretia Williams, 99, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, in Wichita Falls.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1918, in Buffalo, NY to the late John Sandy Williams and Anna Kline Williams. She graduate from Columbia, PA High School in 1935 and then went on to study at The Williams Institute of Mortuary Service and the Hoyt School of Nursing. She worked at Fulton National Bank in Lancaster, PA from 1946 - 1973. In 1973 she moved to Lamesa, where she worked at First National Bank until 1977. After briefly moving to Kerrville, she returned to Lamesa in 1978, and worked for WG White Gin as a book keeper from 78 - 80, secretary and book keeper for Dawson County Senior Citizen Center from 79 - 80 and secretary for Dawson County Judge, Glenn “Bottles” White from 83 - 90. In 1997 she moved to Iowa Park. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star #366 in Columbia, PA, Alta Shrine #38 in Lancaster, PA and the Amaranth Court #70 in Lancaster, PA.
Survivors include her son, Sandy Williams of Iowa Park; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
