Marjorie Lee Russell Butts

Marjorie Lee Russell Butts, 94, died Wednesday, March 4, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Monday at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Glen Pearce officiating. Burial followed at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Butts was born Jan. 23, 1915 in Baird, to Olbern Judson and Helen McIntyre Russell. She and Robert Justin Butts were married Dec. 25, 1934 in Cisco. She has been a resident of Iowa Park for 68 years, was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 74 years, of Iowa Park; a son, Dr. Russell Butts and wife, Janet of Albuquerque, N. M.; two daughters, Barbara Littlefield of Mansfield and Roberta Fenner of Fort Worth; a sister, Cathryne Miller of Dallas; a brother, Bill Russell of Midland; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
