Helen Lavonne Hazelwood, 63, died Tuesday, March 3.
Graveside services were held Friday in the Petrolia Cemetery with Rev. Danny Lively officiating.
A daughter of the late Alton Burnett and Iva Lee (Anderson) Pepper, she was born Oct. 5, 1945. She and James Hazelwood were married Feb. 28, 1962, in Wichita Falls. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed singing, karaoke, and dancing.
She was preceded in death by six sisters, Mable Louise Sosebee, Dortha Maxine Rice, Patsy Ruth Lively, Joy Faye Pepper, Nelda Fern Christmas, and Debra Kay Masini; and a grandson, James Darren Hazelwood.
Survivors include her husband of Iowa Park; her children, Gary Lynn, Poozy, Jenny Lee Hazelwood, and Bruce Holder, and Jim Hand, all of Iowa Park; three brothers, Alton Pepper of Tucumcari, N.M., Garland Pepper of Justin, and Howard Pepper of Dell City, OK.; three sisters, Sharon Brown of Wichita Falls, Connie Pepper and Lillie Diane Gilmore, both of Iowa Park; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
