Lewis Odell Case, 80, passed away Sunday, March15.
Arrangements are being handled through Restwood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson.
Funeral Services were held at First Baptist Church in Angleton, Wednesday.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mr. Case was born May 3, 1934 in Wichita Falls, to William Henry Case and Thelma Johnson Case. He grew up in the Wichita Falls area and is formerly of Iowa Park. He moved to Freeport in his early adult years. He worked for and retired from Dow Chemical after 28 years as an operator and foreman. He was a craftsman building eight homes from the ground up and was an artist with his hands. He used these skills to help others as often as he could. He enjoyed dancing, old country music, and back roads. He also enjoyed traveling the country to unknown destinations, hunting and the great outdoors.
He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge of Brazoria. He was also a Scottish Rite and Shriner and attended First Baptist Church in Angleton.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; five sons Terry, James, Lionel, Billy and Darren; three daughters, Lafonda, Brenda, and Carol; a brother, Gene; 21 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Cody Case, Jason Case, Kiley Watkins, Bobbie Pustejovskuy, Hunter Case, Jason Knopp, and Phillip Watkins. Honarary Pallbearers are: Trevor Brooks, Jonathan Case, Dillon Case and Ty Case.
