Viola Talley Ford
1921 - 2012

Viola Talley Ford, 90, passed away Thursday in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Faith Baptist Church Wichita Falls with the Rev. Larry Shields officiating.

Interment was held Monday at Crestview Memorial Park.

Viola was born July 14, 1921 to Hurst Benton (H.B.) Talley and Zilla Zee Whitaker Talley. She moved to Kamay as a young child and attended Valley View Schools.

She married Thomas Preston Ford on May 2, 1942. She graduated from Draughon’s Business School. As an adult, she lived in Wichita Falls and was employed by Joe Pistocco car dealership. She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Gary Lynn Ford and Lanny Alan Ford; sisters Loretta Talley and Valaree Talley Mae; brother Don Talley; and grandchildren, Jared Ford and Brittany Ford.

Survivors include her great-grandson, Devin Ford of Wichita Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations can be made to Faith Baptist Church or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
