Larry Wayne Fortner, age 54, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jeff Ratliff officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Larry was born June 26, 1953 in San Angelo, Texas to Ray and Norma Fortner. He has lived in the Iowa Park area 47 years. He is a graduate of Iowa Park Schools. He was last employed by AV Pro, Inc. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Iowa Park.

His father preceded him in death.

Larry is survived by his mother, Norma (King) Fortner of Iowa Park, a son, Jeff Fortner of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Summer Fortner of Fort Worth, Texas: two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Mike Mitchell of Iowa Park, Texas, Sharon and Joe Cates of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Lexton and Ahmya of Fort Worth, Texas; a niece, Lisa Erickson of Fort Worth, Texas and a lifelong friend, Becky Bates.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dutton Funeral Home.
