Opal E. Wineinger
1918 - 2013

Opal E. Wineinger, 94, of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, March 24, in Iowa Park.

Funeral services were held Wednesday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Interment followed at Crestview Memorial Park.

Opal was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Bonita, to the late Homer and Eula (Farquhar) Parker. She retired from the state hospital after 13 years. She was a longtime member of Lamar Baptist Church. Opal was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, and taking care of her family.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, U.Q. Wineinger; and her brother, Adrian Parker.

Survivors include a daughter, La Rue Bedford of Iowa Park; her two sons, Dickie Wineinger of Iowa Park, and Randal Wineinger of Wichita Falls; a brother, Gene Parker of Saint Jo; eight grandchildren; and 22 twenty great-grandchildren.

The family suggest, memorials be made to Iowa Park Healthcare Center, 1109 N. 3rd St., Iowa Park, TX 76367.
