Edwina “Wina” Hodgkins Sumrall

Edwina “Wina” Hodgkins Sumrall, 70, of Fort Worth, passed away Friday, March 20.
The funeral services were held Tuesday, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls with her brother, Danny Hodgkins, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and her son-in-law, Reagan Cotton, officiating. Interment followed at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Mrs. Sumrall was born on October 3, 1938, in Wichita Falls. She was retired from the restaurant business as owner of Wina’s Good and Plenty in Iowa Park, Burkburnett and Holliday. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edgar Hodgkins and Virla “Jeff”Tucker Hodgkins.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Cotton of Wichita Falls and Melissa Fuller of Fort Worth; a son, Guy of Holbrook, New York; a sister, Carolyn Morgan of Malakoff; two brothers, John William Hodgkins and Danny Ray Hodgkins, both of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
