Sammy Ray Lee

Sammy Ray Lee, 73, died Sunday, April 5, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jack Stevens officiating. Burial followed at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mr. Lee was born Nov. 7, 1935 in Nocona, to Sammy Glen and Lida Bea Hammond Lee. He was a self employed oil field worker and had been a resident of Iowa Park 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two sons, Sammy Glen Lee of Yorktown, VA. and Tommy Lee of Kamay; four daughters Candye Smith of Monahans, Sandra Glawe of Wichita Falls, and Jenny Fowler and Peni Deatherage, both of Iowa Park; a brother, Bud Lee of Montague; a sister, Pat Cross of Nocona; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society 2304 Midwestern Parkway, Suite 206 Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.
