Clara Mae Martin
1928 - 2009

Clara Mae Hornsby Martin, 80, former Iowa Park resident died Sunday, April 5, in Sugarland.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, at Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Burial was held in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Martin was born May 26, 1928 in Hill County, to Luther and Georgia Roden Hornsby. She and Roscoe Martin were married December 12, 1946 in Hillsboro. She was a retired x-ray technician at Grant/Buie Hospital in Hillsboro. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park and has been a resident of Missouri City for the past 6 years.

Her parents, husband and son, George Martin preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter Jane Watson of Missouri City.

The family suggests memorials be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund 411 S. Wall Street Iowa Park, 76367.
