Carrol “Champ” Sosebee
Carrol “Champ” Sosebee, 59, of Wichita Falls, passed away Thursday, March 26.
Memorial services were held Saturday, April 4, at the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Elder Bill Allen, officiating.
Mr. Sosebee was born June 4, 1949, to the late Herbert and Nina Jo Sosebee. He served in the United States Army. He received his nickname “Champ” when he fought in the Golden Gloves as a young boy.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lloyd, Melton, Pete, and Ronny.
Survivors include his wife, Quita of Wichita Falls; a son, Ritchie of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Patsy McIntyre of Iowa Park; five brothers, Frank, Orville, Jerry, Cletus, and Danny all of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Treva Cates, Melba Watson, and Alta Choate, all of Wichita Falls and Gail of Denton; and one grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson, Rd., Wichita Falls, TX., 76310.
