Willie “Bill” Arthur Sefcik
1914-2008
Willie “Bill” Arthur Sefcik, 93, died Friday, April 4, in Burleson.
Services were held Tuesday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Felix Bautista of Oklahoma City officiating. Burial was held in Electra Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Sefcik was born December 20, 1914, in Electra to Charlie and Ola Lee Sefcik. He and Lillian Miller were married May 21, 1938, in Frederick, OK. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a graduate of Harrold High School in Harrold, and was a carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 429.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; seven sons; three daughters; four great-grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include two daughter, Barbara Green and Beatrice Newby, both of Burleson ; a son, James Smith of Burleson; two brothers, Jelly of Electra, and Louis of Iowa Park; 30 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and 40 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be made to Parkinson’s Foundation.
