Bobby “Bear” Lipe
1938 - 2007

Bobby “Bear” Lipe, 68, of Wichita Falls, died Monday, April 9.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.

Mr. Lipe was born August 18, 1938, in Wichita Falls, to Paul and Marie (Parvin) Lipe. He and Joyce Copeland were married July 9, 1958, in Wichita Falls. He retired as a captain with the Wichita Falls Fire Department after 38 years. During his career, he was awarded two lifesaving awards and a community service award. He was a member of the Joseph A. Kemp Masonic Lodge No. 1287 A.F. & A.M. and the Maskat Shrine.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Paula Kay Yarbrough.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kevin and Scott, both of Wichita Falls; a sister, Bettie Sands of Kamay; and five grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
