Brian Beasley
1958 - 2017

Brian Scott Beasley, 58, passed away on April 10, in Archer City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Holliday, with Brother Darryl Sewell and Brother Billy Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery following the service under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

Brian was born May 5, 1958, to Monroe and Doris (Walling) Beasley in Wichita Falls. He and Tanya Alexander were married Dec. 19, 1987, in Seymour. He worked in the construction business specializing in homes for over 30 years. He then started his own business raising deer and over time expanded into deer breeding. He was a member of the Texas Deer Association and the Deer Breeders Co-op. In his earlier years he liked to participate in rodeos and rode bulls. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Holliday.

He was preceded in death by his father Monroe Beasley, in 1993.

Survivors include his wife Tanya of Archer City; his mother Doris Beasley Snider and husband Glenn of Wichita Falls; two sons Brandt Beasley and Cody Beasley, both of Archer City; two sisters Becky Swaydan of Wichita Falls and Michelle Adams of Iowa Park; and seven grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 or to the American Cancer Society.
