Bette Jo Howard

Bette Jo Howard, 88, of Wichita Falls, died Saturday, April 9, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Nocona with Rev. Dave Woodbury and Buddy Lee officiating. Burial was held in Nocona Cemetery.

Mrs. Howard was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Joe (Jody) Weldon of Wichita Falls; three sons, Ed of Iowa Park, Dan of Lubbock, and Ronnie of Sugarland; a daughter, Janie Swinney of Midland; a sister, Sue Vanderslice of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Jean’s Men’s Bible Class, 106 Main St., Nocona, Tx. 76255.
